LILANOOR ENSEMBLE

Lilanoor explores the meeting point of various musical genres, cultures, and artistic disciplines through unique and intimate formats, in both France and India.​

The ensemble reimagines a wide range of repertoires—from Baroque and opera to Lied and French mélodie—through original arrangements shaped by two core artistic directions:

 

• a dialogue between Western and Indian music

• an encounter between classical and operatic traditions, and traditional and popular forms.

​

Its creations include Buried Treasures, Sangam, Confluences, When they love you like that, Pajarillo Verde, Little Italy, and The Garden in the River, presented in France and India.

​

Two new projects are currently in development: Makri, the Little Weaver and Va-t-en-guerre (co-produced with Cie Mobilo-Lyricus).
