LILANOOR ENSEMBLE

Lilanoor explores the meeting point of various musical genres, cultures, and artistic disciplines through unique and intimate formats, in both France and India.​

The ensemble reimagines a wide range of repertoires—from Baroque and opera to Lied and French mélodie—through original arrangements shaped by two core artistic directions:

 

• a dialogue between Western and Indian music

• an encounter between classical and operatic traditions, and traditional and popular forms.

​

Its creations include Buried Treasures, Sangam, Confluences, When they love you like that, Pajarillo Verde, Little Italy, The Garden in the River and Makri, the Little Weaver.

Two new projects are currently in development: Yvette and Va-t-en-guerre
