Sangam, Confluences is an ode to journeying—a tribute to artists, poets, and musicians driven by a boundless curiosity, a thirst for discovery, and a desire to connect through sound. In this program, we give voice to their stories, their melodies, and their spirit of exploration.

On stage, Western and Hindustani singing intertwine with the resonances of theorbo, nyckelharpa, dilruba, tombak, and tablas. Together, they awaken 17th-century Italian and English madrigals, classical and traditional Indian songs, Celtic airs, and original compositions, weaving past and present into a living tapestry of sound. Improvisation, the lifeblood of Indian and folk traditions, flows freely, bringing each performance its own singular heartbeat.
